The cities of Nampula and Beira will host two concerts as part of the “Peace is Our Culture” campaign. The first show will take place on the 26th of April, in the city of Nampula, at the Clube Ferroviário de Nampula Swimming Pool, and on the 28th of April in the City of Beira, at the Clube Ferroviário da Beira pavilion. The concerts, with free access, feature a part of the cast of the project “A Peace is Our Culture”, namely Stewart Sukuma, Radjha Ally, Ana Girão, Dama Ija, Massukos, Wazimbo, Yolanda Kakana and Twenty Fingers, and include some new voices, such as Lukie.The shows aim to stimulate , through art, the preservation of peace as an unavoidable pillar for the construction of a more just society. Thus, the shows serve as a challenge to remember that maintaining peace is a collective effort that cannot cease. The public is invited to dress in white, reinforcing a message of peace. The campaign’s music and video were coordinated and artistically directed by Stewart Sukuma, as ambassador of the movement. The song features the participation of singers Massukos (Niassa), Dama Ija (Nampula), Júlia Mwitu (Cabo Delgado), Radjha Ally (Nampula), Euridse Jeque (Zambézia), Yolanda Kakana (Maputo), Wazimbo (Maputo), Twenty Fingers (Sofala) and Stewart Sukuma (Maputo).
