Heading is recruiting for its client a Logistics Superintendent, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.
Duties
- To be responsible to Report to the Technical Services & Integrated Planning Manager, design and implement the Company’s product supply chain and ensure the seamless supply of product to the Company’s customers
Requisites
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, International Trade or related fields
- Minimum 5 years in supply chain/international freight transportation, including significant shipping management experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing cost down solutions
- Ability to set up new supply chains using multi-modal transport solutions
- Experience in Chartering or the International container shipping industry
- Experience in working within a sales and operational planning process
- Strong contractor/subcontractor supply chain management experience
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
