To this end, the Council of Ministers approved, yesterday, an instrument that delegates powers to the Minister of Economy and Finance to define and transfer extraordinary amounts to municipalities affected by floods. The decision was announced by the Government spokesman, Inocêncio Impissa, at the end of the Twelfth session of the Mozambican executive. The spokesman for the Twelfth session of the Council of Ministers, Inocêncio Impissa, also said that the voter registration period will be extended in the district of Quissanga , in the province of Cabo Delgado. The measure results from the creation of security conditions in that area, once ravaged by terrorist attacks.
