Within the scope of Disaster Risk management and the Early Warning Initiative for everyone, PAR made it known that, in 2022, the country approved the Regulation for the operationalization of the integrated Platform for the Dissemination and communication of Early Warning information on floods and cyclones. With regard to Mozambique’s commitments in relation to climate change, the President of the Mozambican Parliament listed some, with emphasis on the integration of climate change into socioeconomic development policies, strategies and plans; the promotion of education, awareness raising and dissemination on matters related to climate change; adherence to the African carbon market initiative.
