Dos novos casos, onze são de cidadãos regressados da África do Sul, seis de profissionais da saúde e os restantes resultam da vigilância activa.

Informal sellers will only go to the markets as soon as conditions are created. Razaque Manhique, addresses the issue in an empathetic manner, arguing that it will only be possible to leave the streets for the markets when the appropriate conditions are created. A point of reference that was the peak of discord occurred in March 2020, when the Council Municipality of Maputo, directed at the time by Eneas Comiche, began an action to remove informal vendors from places considered unsuitable for commerce, a work philosophy that is not an option for Razaque Manhique. Recognizing the existence of abandoned markets in the city that directs, Manhique explained that awareness is made up of attitudes. We have to speed up our steps, we have to have resources, we have to create conditions for people to be there, and we will see that, if we manage to create these conditions and get people out of there, everyone will realize that there is a place where informal commerce is developing. Still around the problems in the City of Maputo, Razaque Manhique learned, through the television channel STV, that the main public squares and monuments in the country’s capital are in a poor state of conservation and promises actions to restore the image, starting with the Eduardo Mondlane Statue, located on the avenue named after the architect of peace and national unity.”The statue of Eduardo Mondlane should not be like this. Eduardo Mondlane is a national and international reference. After which We heard and saw, let’s pay more attention and, in the coming days, the statue will present another image, and please, wherever you find similar situations, please report it to us!” The answers to solving these public health problems, sanitation and commerce were given, this Tuesday, by Razaque Manhique, during the launch of the cleaning campaign at the level of the City of Maputo, which runs until 2024, in an initiative supported by the Maputo Port Development Society (MPDC).
