The decision was announced this Tuesday, by the spokesman of the Council of Ministers Filimão Suaze, following the organization’s thirty-first ordinary session. Twenty days after the approval of new salaries minimum, the Executive decided to change the salaries of members of the Police of the Republic, Armed Forces, National Migration Service and National Penitentiary Service, having considered and approved the decrees that: “…changes the value of index 100 of the Salary Table of Police Members of Mozambique (PRM); alters the value of the index 100 of the Salary Table of the Members of the Armed Forces of Mozambique (FADM); alter a the value of the index 100 of the Salary Table of the members of the National Migration Service (SENAMI); changes the value of the index 100 of the Salary Table of the members of the National Penitentiary Service (SERNAP)”, clarified Filimão Suaze. Also at this Tuesday’s session, the Council of Ministers appreciated the information regarding the reconstruction plan for Cabo Delgado, in the zones affected by terrorism and the mechanisms for its implementation, assessment and prospects for the application of COVID-19 containment measures and the preparation of Mozambique’s participation in Expo-Dubai 2020, to take place from 30 September 2021 to 31 March 2022 .It should be noted that Mozambique’s participation in this event is scheduled for the 7th of February 2022, with an exhibition of performing art in high season.
