Senior Venture Accountant PPA (m/f)

Duties

• System changes and enhancements based on business requirements
• Ensure the integrity of the general accounts and the structure of the ledger, at the asset level as well as per the company share
• Good understanding of SAP FI and SAP JVA module to ensure alignment with management reporting objectives and requirements
• Preparation of financial information for the company’s reporting including but not only:
• Bi-annual Board meetings packs
• Internal Reporting Practice Committee papers
• Company’s Compliance meetings packs
• Company’s Annual budget and quarterly forecast information
• Annual Financial Statements as per IFRS
• Review general ledger reconciliations
• Monthly management accounts
• Rolling Capital Plan
• Other adhoc tasks relating to the company’s Reporting
• Preparation of financial information for the asset reporting including but not only:
• Finance Committee meetings packs
• Operating Committee meetings packs
• Management Committee meetings packs
• Monthly partner joint billing statements
• Monthly partner cash calls
• Monthly asset reporting
• Annual work program and budget
• Quarterly forecast updates
• Capital reporting to the asset
• Other adhoc tasks relating to Asset Reporting
• Comply with internal SOX controls and quarterly SOX training

Requisites

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas projects, mining or other relevant industries
• Fluent in Portuguese, with English as an added advantage
