Novas medidas de prevenção do novo coronavírus entram em vigor a partir de sexta-feira, dia 15 do corrente mês, no País.
As medidas anunciadas, esta quarta-feira, pelo Presidente da República numa comunicação à nação, incluem o encerramento de discotecas, bares, barracas de venda de bebidas alcoólicas, salas de jogo, casinos e suspensão de actividade de ginásios.

COUNTRY: NEW COVID-19 PREVENTION MEASURES GOING IN VIGOR FROM 6TH RDAY
New measures to prevent the new coronavirus come into effect from Friday, the 15th of this month in the country.
Measures announced this Wednesday by the President of the Republic in a communication to the nation include the closure of clubs, bars, liquor sales shacks, playrooms, casinos and gym activity suspension.
′′ First, media are invited to strengthen education actions in more creative and more efficient format for sending messages aimed at changing behavior. Second, all travellers are required to test Covid-19 and checkpoints are established on the truck driver s’ journey. Three, persons with proven respiratory or fever symptoms, should not be present at the work places or education or other public place. Four, opening hours for restaurants and pasture houses are restricted for the period between six and twenties, Monday to Friday and between six and fifteen hours, Saturday and Sunday. Five, open door licensing are temporarily suspended, if you have open door license you are suspended ′′ said.
In total, the Head of State has announced 21 measures to take effect from Friday and will last 21 days.
In the same communication Filipe Nyusi announced that the country has completed the processes for introducing the Covid-19 vaccine, in the country.
′′ Mozambique has already submitted its candidacy and portfolio for vaccine access, it has started the definition of priority groups, with additional needs being integrated into the vaccination strategy. In addition to the Covax initiative, the country is also mobilising additional financial resources to acquire more vaccine doses to cover most of the illegible population in this process ′′ stressed the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi.
