Geology Technician

Twigg Exploration & Mining, is recruiting a Geology Technician, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.

Duties

• The Geology technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance to mining Geologists involved in the field of graphite mining
• Prepare samples to send to laboratory for grade control and also to spot ore from unwanted materials and rock in the Pit
• Assisting Mine Geologist in finding ore body from mine rocks
• Assisting the excavation operator on trenching and preparing samples for laboratory
• Overseeing mining operations ensuring that mine safety rules are followed
• Spotting Ore from unwanted materials and rock in the Pit and Run of Mine
• Recording variations in rock samples on charts and maps

Requisites

• Diploma of geological technician
• Good technical skills on open pit mine operations
• Must have knowledge of making maps and charts
• Good leadership and teamwork skills
• Drive License (Preferably)
